The BeetBox CSA's standing mission is to reimagine a just and blossoming food system. One that nurtures an ecosystem of support for small scale farmers of color by connecting YOU and our community to nutritious, culturally relevant, and sustainably grown fruits and vegetables– while also being able to put earnings into Oakland youth IDA savings accounts!  

Our CSA values partnering with family, women and Indigenous led farms, to provide routine support of their dedicated lives in farming. Our farmers set THEIR price, and we pay them for their valuable labor and harvest. We believe in empowering and supporting our community and those who sustain it: our farmers.

Additionally, we work actively to increase access and distribute fresh produce free of cost to communities that have historically had little to no access to healthy food options in their neighborhood. We recognize the importance of keeping the program affordable and accessible to all! Through our Pay-It-Forward program, you can become an active donor+ supporter of our community mutual care.

Our BeetBoxCSA includes hand selected seasonal crops from our amazing partnered farmers in Oakland Central Coast and Valley, and ANV's very own community farms!
